LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

Who We Are:

We are a small, family-run business, who have a passion for beauty, customer satisfaction, and safety.  To provide you with a unique and personalized service we have only 2 studios in northeast London.  Lasered Ink is a division of Brow Boutique that has been successfully operating for the past 10 years.  You can see what our customers think about us on Google Maps, Freshia, Treatwell, and Facebook.

Over the past years, Brow Boutique has been getting more and more requests to remove botched eyebrows and tattoos that we could not cater to.  This is how the idea originated of creating a new line of business focused on tattoo and semi-permanent makeup (PMU) removal using either saline or laser technology.

We have partnered with 2 of the leading, brands to provide these services.  As certified users of Botched Ink ™  for our saline removals and AllWhite Laser (AW3®, King of Lasers ) for our laser tattoo removal services you can be certain of the high-quality services and results you will obtain with these 100% British products.

Why is laser tattoo removal important?

Tattoos have become increasingly popular over the years as a form of self-expression and art. However,  people get tattoos removed for a variety of reasons. Some may have gotten a tattoo in their youth that no longer holds the same meaning or relevance. Others may have experienced a change in their life circumstances that necessitates the removal of a visible tattoo. Some may have even gotten a tattoo that was done poorly or simply the tattoo did not age well.

Whatever your reason is, tattoos can be removed!!!  If you want to learn how we can help you please book a consultation with us.

How does laser tattoo removal work?

When you have a tattoo done, ink particles are injected into the dermis layer of the skin.  These ink particles are too large to be absorbed by the macrophages (body’s immune and lymphatic systems) hence they remain in your skin for the rest of your life, unless you do something to change the size of the ink particle.

Laser Tattoo removal is the process of using a Q-swithed device that generates high peak power photoacoustic waves. The waves lengths are miniscule and are measured in a billionth of a meter or nanometres (nm). These waves cause the ink particles to shatter and fragment to smaller pieces which can then be absorbed by the body’s immune and lymphatic systems.

Depending on the colour of the ink particle you want to shatter, a different wavelength is needed.   The 1064 nm wavelength is ideal for removing black or dark tattoos, as this wavelength is very well absorbed by black or darker inks. The 532 nm wavelength is the most effective wavelength for red ink and other warm-toned colours, including violet, orange, yellow, and brown.

What factors affect laser tattoo removal?

Just as every person is unique, every tattoo that undergoes laser tattoo removal is different and there are many factors that will affect how fast and effectively you can remove a tattoo with laser.  These are some of the main factors that impact the process:

  1. Skin type of the patient.

  2. Wavelength of the laser used.

  3. Pigment components used in the tattoo ink

  4. Health and immune system of the patient

  5. Professional vs Amateur tattoo

  6. Pre-treatment care
